The intra-nursery coloring competition, held for the 9 nurseries of Buniyaad in the first week of March, commenced with teachers diligently explaining the basic rules to the eager participants. Volunteers assigned to each nursery oversaw the competition. At its conclusion, the challenging task of judging the coloring sheets fell on these volunteers. What truly stood out was the heartwarming sight of kids encouraging each other. Most 4-year-olds demonstrated their growing dexterity and attention to detail by coloring within the lines. Some finished their sheets early and took the initiative to support their friends, gently nudging them to complete their work. While three kids were awarded first, second, and third prizes, the true reward was witnessing the supportive atmosphere and teamwork among the children, fostering camaraderie and kindness, thus enriching their social skills and sense of community.
